About The Role Journey Beyond is currently seeking experienced and passionate casual coach drivers to join our Alice Springs team from March through to the end of November. These positions are central to ensuring a high level of service delivery for guests during our off-train excursions. Coach drivers will be responsible for the complete operation and safety of the coach. You will be a confident individual with excellent communication skills to actively engage with our guests, ensuring an excellent guest experience. Alongside experience in the tourism and/or transport industry, you will also have a passion for Alice Springs and its attractions. Key Responsibilities will include: Deliver high standard of customer service to all passengers / customers, creating a positive experience on every service Provide on-board commentary throughout the tour Comply with company and department safety policies & procedures Consistently ensure the safety of yourself, your passengers, and your vehicle Provide interactive and engaging day tours for guests Pre-departure safety checks The shift patterns where you may be rostered, are as below: March & November: Monday: 11am – 6pm Thursday: 8am – 10pm April to October: Sunday: 10am – 10:00pm Monday: 11am – 6:00pm Thursday: 8am – 10pm About You To be successful in this role, you must have: Minimum LR license. HR drivers’ licence preferred. Driver Accreditation Current Senior First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain one) Satisfactory national criminal history check Demonstrated coach driving experience An outstanding safety focus, including basic fatigue management competency and a commitment to your own fitness for duty Experience delivering excellent customer service Basic mechanical knowledge Ability to clean facilities to ensure customer satisfaction Exceptional personal presentation and ‘can do’ attitude Preseason training is available.
